With the authority of the Prime Minister, Ceger operates in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, reporting directly to the Secretary of State of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

CEGER supports the governance of information technology and communication areas. We strive to guarantee the most effective use of information and communication technologies, especially the internet, to ensure better Government.

Effective use of electronic communication networks, guaranteeing the State's electronic security, and electronic collaboration between Government bodies and the State are vital strategic factors in the competitiveness and modernisation of the Government.

The strategic objectives of Ceger are the modernisation of the technological infrastructure and electronic services of the Government.

Mission

CEGER is the organisation for Information and Communication Technology of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with responsibility for supporting the governance of Government electronic domains, with a strategic focus on electronic security, communication and advanced systems in support of Government decision-making.
